Wayne State University’s Center for Urban Studies has received support to initiate the AmeriCorps Urban Safety (AMUS) Project to improve resident public safety in the Midtown/North End areas. The AMUS project will Simplement three initiatives to achieve this goal:
- Improving levels of neighborhood guardianship;
- Reducing victim attractiveness and susceptibility; and
- Technical assistance for wireless internet use.
The Center for Urban Studies brings together people of all backgrounds who are ready to make a change.
