Assembling program information on best practices in a particular policy field using standard, objective criteria. Assessing existing programs/policies relative to best practices in the field.

Logic models

Develop a flow chart, with narrative explanations that depicts how a program operates - includes depiction of inputs, throughputs, outputs, outcomes, etc.

Evaluation

Evaluations may focus on programs, projects, or systems.

Evaluations may monitor program activities and suggest improvements. They may examine processes or technology to suggest alternatives. Alternatively, evaluations may examine the outcomes or effectiveness, providing recommendations and directions to policy makers.
